I call this the Gateway Green Smoothie because this recipe is the most successful in convincing skeptics that green smoothies can actually taste good and it encourages them to try other blends.
You can’t beat the power of pineapple.
1/2 c frozen pineapple OR 1 inch ring fresh pineapple, core included
1 cup frozen spinach (if using fresh spinach, lightly steam until just wilted and color pops, then allow to cool before using)
1 cup yogurt or kefir of your choice, or water
Add all ingredients to Vitamix container and blend until smooth.
