Ingredient notes:
I freeze as much of my ingredients as I can so that I don't have to use ice.
I buy local when in season and frozen when not, but you should do what makes the most sense ecologically and economically when purchasing ingredients.
These recipes will get you anywhere from 16 to 32 ounces, depending on how many cups of liquid or yogurt are used.
Make these recipes your own: They're only going to taste good if you like the ingredients and make them in a ratio that satisfies your palate.
Substitute, add more or less, etc, and then come back and tell me how you made the recipe better for you.

Living Light: Health, Happiness, and Freedom on the Road Less TraveledThings I Have to Tell You
This blog is a place for me to share my love for all things Vitamix. I have opinions on what makes food "real", "healthy", and "good", but that doesn't mean I'm necessarily right (or wrong for that matter).
